Ian Van Dahl Album Launch 2002

In 2002 One 2 Watch Entertainments were commissioned to film the live tour of the massive trance act Ian Van Dahl.   This was the tour to launch their new Album and included live performances in 22 nightclubs across the UK.

The tour began in Cardiff and ended in Glasgow two weeks later.

The `act` centres around vocalist Annemie Coenen from Belgium, with two dancers to compliment the live performance and two talented producers in the studio.

Having completed the tour and the delivery of several different edits, we were asked to produce a music video using the live footage and to match this to the recently released `Alphazone` Re-Edit of a track performed during the tour.

The result is this exciting edit, which captures the energy and scope of the tour and fits well with the Alphazone edit.  The video was included on certain European releases of the album `Ace ` .

Paradise - See The Light

We were approached by a Record Label and they played to us a brilliant track sung by the amazing vocalist Mandy Edge.
The Producers knew they were on to a `good thing` as soon as they heard Mandy launch into song, but the label wanted us to work on a visual demo that would help promote the track and get it signed to some major complilation albums.

Working with the label, some actors and varied location - including the Green Screen Studio at Southampton Solent University, we put together this visual demo and this was later used as an aid for marketing the artist and the label to larger organisations such as Ministry Of Sound.

Our Presenter Jon Brown makes an appearance in the film and the filming, editing and graphics were completed by Carl Dearing and Steve McGarricle.

Steve is an experienced camerman, but excels in the area of motion graphics and animation.  We credit him with helping us switch from the PC to Apple Mackintosh for our editing and he has helped us to cover many live and corporate events.

Cadence - Promo for new band

We were approached by the Manager of a new artist trying to make her way in the Trance / Dance music arena.
With only a shoestring budget - after lots of expense setting up the project, Fran`s management wanted to promote the singer to a number of record labels and to hopefully get her signed to one of the major companies.
The plan was to get the backing and financial support needed, to progress Cadence as a band and to get enough interest for a properly funded music video and album deal.

Working with footage shot on a camcorder by the Management Team and with footage we recorded at a local gig, we managed to put together a good promotional film, fitted to the studio recording of the debut single.

The video was later used to promote the band , they have now been on tour with Basshunter at various venues around the country, they have been signed to a major label and the debut track is now playing on several music video channels.

Complete Madness - Live at Butlins

Complete Madness was formed in 1994 out of a band called Beat The System which itself was born in 1989 with original members Mark Keegan and Derek Wood who are still with Complete Madness today.

Mark was always into the original Punk and Ska scene while Derek was more of an old School Rock person, so finding a happy medium of music was always difficult but in 1990 they decided to settle on the New Wave type of stuff featuring bands such as The Clash, Alarm, U2, Nick Lowe, Big Country and Flock of Seagulls to name a few and even though it was great playing this stuff it wasn’t always well received in a lot of clubs.

In 1992 their bass guitarist, Steve Cliffe, brought up the idea of maybe learning a few Madness tracks - Night boat to Cairo and Baggy Trousers.

At that time the tracks sounded a bit on the rock side of Ska, but it went down in the clubs very well, it was original and different to say the least.

The band started doing showcases and signed to a decent agency and the work started to get better, and more and more Madness and Specials tracks were being learnt, so it was decided that this was the only direction the band were going to take.

This is a record of a complete Live Performance by the band at Butlins in Bognor Regis - at an Eighties Weekender.
